Quick and Dirty Workout

Today was a busy day and by the time dinner rolled around I still hadn’t gone grocery shopping.  The boys and I decided to meet Kelly at Subway.  The Big One and I shared a foot long turkey on whole wheat.  My side was loaded with all the veggies and The Big One chose to have just Olives and Turkey. I also shared a bag of baked sour cream & onion chips with The Little One.

As promised here is this mornings workout.

I started with a 5K on the treadmill.

I followed my treadmill run with a Quick and Dirty Circuit Workout. Complete each circuit WITHOUT resting. Repeat each circuit 3 times before moving on to the next one. Rest 30 seconds between circuits.

  • 12 Chest Fly’s on Stability ball
  • 12 – 1 leg dead lift into shoulder press on each leg
  • 20 Plank Jacks

REST 30 seconds

  • 12 Resistance band side steps into curl
  • 12 Lat pullovers on stability ball
  • 20 crunches on stability ball holding weight

REST 30 seconds

  • 12 reverse lunges into tricep kickback on each side
  • 12 Sumo squat with double row
  • 20 oblique crunches on each side

This workout had me dripping in sweat the whole time. And the endorphin rush wasn’t half bad either!
